Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of the website. The data obtained is used to optimize our website and our advertising campaigns. Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually committed to implementing measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the processed data. During your visit to the website, the following data, among others, is recorded:

  • Your behavior on the pages (e.g., time spent, clicks, scrolling)

Personal data such as name, address, or contact details are never transmitted to Google Analytics. This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. Please note that the same level of data protection as within the EU cannot be guaranteed in the USA. Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser for two years from your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that allows you to be recognized on future visits to the website. The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, enabling the analysis of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data is retained in aggregated form indefinitely. If you do not agree with this data collection, you can prevent it by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on once, or by rejecting cookies in our cookie settings dialog.
